Our Story:
Lorraine's Floral Designs is a Nebraska based wedding and event florist. If you are looking for a full service florist or just a few pieces for your special day, we are here to help. We also offer floral preservation for weddings, funerals and any other special moments.
Lorraine's Floral Designs was inspired by my Grandmother, Margaret Lorraine. She was the biggest lover of all things floral. Her home always had vases of dried flowers inside and her backyard had the most beautiful garden. The vases and frames of dried flowers she had inspired the floral preservation service we offer now.

Once you've decided on the preservation items you would like, please fill out our booking form below.
Once we receive the booking form we will reach out to reserve your space. We are limited on space, so be sure to book early!

Once we have your booking complete, you will receive your preservation invoice.
The invoice will have to be paid in full prior to preserving your flowers.

During the booking process you can request bouquet pick up. With this service, we will pick up your bouquet from your event venue. The venue however, must be in the Omaha Metro area. This service will be added to your invoice if requested.
If you would prefer to drop off your bouquet, you must drop off within 3 days following your event.

Once we have your bouquet in hand, we will begin the preservation process.
The flowers in your bouquet will determine the drying method used. Most flowers will involve us taking each petal apart and drying individually.

The drying process typically takes between 8-10 weeks. The flowers have to be fully dried before setting in resin or frames. If the flowers are not dried properly, the flowers can rot in your preservation piece.

Once the drying process is completed ,you will receive an email letting you know that we will begin color correcting ,if needed.
During the drying process, some flowers can lose their vibrancy or change to a different color all together.
- White flowers can turn more of an off white or brown color.
- Red flowers can turn dark red or purple.

With color correction, we try to make your flowers look as close to the color that they were on your special day.

Before we begin the designing process you will be updated by email letting you know that this process is beginning.
If requested, you will receive a photo of the design prior to setting into a frame to approve. Once the design has been approved, we will begin setting the flowers into the frame. Once we have started setting the flowers, w

If requested, you will receive a photo of the design prior to setting into a frame to approve. Once the design has been approved, we will begin setting the flowers into the frame. Once we have started setting the flowers, we will not be able to change the design.
Resin item designs are designed in a silicone mold. Therefore, you are not able to approve a design prior to setting in resin.

Your flowers are finally ready to be enjoyed in your home!
You will be contacted by email to set up a delivery or pick up time. If delivery is requested you will receive an email with a delivery invoice attached.
The entire preservation process can take between 12-15 weeks to fully complete.

"EVERYDAY" RING
Our everyday ring is a simple silver band with an oval center "stone".
We will take your fresh or already dried blooms and cast them in resin for you to wear everyday.
Gold or silver flake can be added for extra bling!
